Boing!

A little kid may play for hours
with a toy that all it does is a "boing" sound
and every time -every time- it goes boinnnng boinnnng
the kid enjoys it and laugh like crazy.

He doesn't realize it's just a sound, a meaningless useless sound.
His mind is too young to understand it.
He can play the next day with the same toy
and still enjoys it as if it was a novelty.

The same happens with everybody
-at least with the majority-
People keep themselves busy with all kinds of stuffs
with all -all- kinds of meaningless stuffs...you name it.

Be it music, fashion, sex, food, now the web, etc.
People just don't realize that whatever it is, it's just a "boing"
a more sophisticated "boing"
a more expensive "boing" designed to keep you busy and hipnotized.

People are scared to accept their temporality in this world...
They just don' want to face it
and drag themselves and their families
into all different kinds of useless and complicated "boings".
