Neil Tennant (born 10 July 1954) is an English musician, singer and songwriter, who, with bandmate Chris Lowe, makes up the successful electronic dance music duo Pet Shop Boys.
"Some people think all classical music sounds the same or that all the Rolling Stones records sound the same. If you play our records back to back, they're pretty different. People think they sound the same because of my voice, so no matter what we do, people always say, 'Oh typical Pet Shop Boys..."
